What is real here.
mobileNet does not exist. The operator is invented, its plans are invented, and the figures on the home page are as well.
What the site is for
The LH-Virtual company iPad sends pilots a welcome text message when they change country — the way a real phone abroad would. The sender is deliberately not a real network operator: a message with invented prices in the name of a real company would be a claim about that company's tariffs. With an operator of our own, every figure in it is our own — and this page is the address the text points to.
What about it is accurate
- The roaming rules. Within the EU and the EEA the domestic allowance applies at no extra charge; Switzerland was never part of it, and the United Kingdom has not been since Brexit.
- The instructions on the roaming page. Airplane Mode on means no cellular, no roaming, Wi-Fi untouched — on the simulated iPad as on a real one.
What is invented
- The operator, the plans, the prices, the coverage figures and short code 4400.
- The companies Nordkern Systems, Prismatik Labs, Falkenau Digital, Vantor Capital Partners, Hansa Ledger and Silberbach Treuhand, along with the quotation on the home page. Any resemblance to existing companies is not intended.
- The basket. It counts and nothing more: there is no checkout, no order, and no form that sends anything anywhere.
Not invented are LH-VIRTUAL, LX-VIRTUAL, BOX-Virtual and AviationLads. Those are virtual airlines and communities from flight simulation that belong to the same world — naming them as “customers” is part of the game too.
Privacy
This site gets by without cookies, embeds nothing from other servers, measures nothing
and sends nothing. There is no form that accepts data: the postcode in the coverage
check is worked out in your browser and stored nowhere, and the basket counter lives in
your browser's sessionStorage and is gone when you close the tab.
